Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Dual Track Advisors (“DTA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit dualtrackadvisors.com, use our valuation and planning tools, or contact us.

Notice at collection

The Quick Valuation asks for business information such as industry, revenue, adjusted EBITDA, growth, recurring revenue, customer concentration, owner independence, management strength, financial-reporting quality, interest-bearing debt, and excess cash. The Dual Track Snapshot asks for self-assessments, a target value, and a planning horizon.

These tool inputs are calculated in your browser and are not submitted to or saved by DTA. The Quick Valuation stores only its derived base valuation in your browser’s local storage so it can carry to the Snapshot on the same device. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data. Do not enter names, account numbers, tax identifiers, or other personal or confidential identifiers in tool fields.

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process standard technical data—such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events—to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. If you email or call us, we receive the contact details and message contents you choose to provide.

How we use information

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that host, secure, maintain, or support our website and communications; to professional advisers; when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, financing, sale, or other business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use the valuation-tool inputs for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

DTA retains contact communications and business records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security. Browser-only valuation information remains under your control on your device. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal data; access or obtain a copy; correct inaccuracies; delete personal data; obtain data portability; opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, sharing, or profiling; receive a list of certain third parties; and appeal a denied request. California residents may also have rights to know the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information, to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and to receive equal service without unlawful discrimination.

To make a request or appeal, email kyle@dualtrackadvisors.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. Because the public valuation tools do not send their entries to DTA, we generally cannot retrieve those entries.

Cookies and browser storage

The public tools do not require advertising cookies. The site and its hosting platform may use essential browser storage or cookies needed for navigation, security, and delivery. The Quick Valuation uses local storage as described above.

Children

This business-to-business website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The effective date above identifies the current version.
